Our Story

The Feeling That Started Everything

I didn't start Me Time because I wanted to build a brand.

I started it because I needed something that didn't exist or at least, I couldn't find it.

Like a lot of women living busy lives in the UAE, I had everything running at full speed and almost nothing left for myself. I wasn't looking for luxury. I wasn't looking for a ten-step routine. I was looking for one honest moment something that felt genuinely good, that I could trust, that made me feel like myself again.

The Ritual That Brought Me Back

I've always gone back to the same things. Sidr. Salt. Henna. Moroccan clay. Turmeric.

These are the ingredients I grew up with, the ones that belong in a hammam, in a weekly ritual that women in this region have practiced for generations. They're not trends. They're not clever marketing. They're the real things, the ones that actually work, the ones that leave your skin and your spirit feeling clean and renewed.

Every time I used them, I felt recharged. Grounded. Like I'd given something back to myself that the week had taken.

I wanted to carry that feeling into something I could use every day not just on a special occasion, not just when I had an hour to spare. Something that made even a ten-minute shower feel like it belonged to me.

Why I Made It Myself

What I found in the market was either full of ingredients I didn't want on my skin, or it was so stripped-down and clinical that it didn't feel like care at all.

So I started making it. Slowly, in small batches, from my studio in Sharjah. Using the cold-process method — the traditional way — because it preserves everything good in the oils and butters and lets each bar cure properly over four to six weeks. Nothing rushed. Nothing unnecessary.

I tested everything on myself first. If it didn't feel right, it didn't get made.

What Me Time Stands For

Every product I make starts with one question: how does this make her feel?

Not just on her skin but in that moment. Safe. Calm. Like herself again.

I choose ingredients carefully and honestly. I use natural oils, butters, clays, and botanicals where they do the most good. For fragrance, I use essential oils and IFRA-certified fragrance oils, always clearly listed on every product, always skin-safe. No hidden ingredients. No vague promises.

No SLS. No parabens. No shortcuts.

I also believe in making things sustainably, low-waste practices, plastic-free packaging wherever possible, and small batches that keep quality consistent. Not because it's a trend, but because it's the right way to work.

To You

If you're reading this, you probably know the feeling I'm describing.

The days that ask for everything. The quiet you keep promising yourself. The small moment that keeps getting pushed to the end of the list.

Me Time exists for that moment. Not to add to your routine,  to give you a reason to actually take it.

I hope it feels as good for you as it does for me.
